Hey, I read your article and definitely agreed to some of points but disagreed with others. Hoping to engage in some good natured exchange. I have followed Prashant Kishor for a while and even if I have had some issues with his work I see it largely as a step in the right direction.

Firstly, your repeated usage of the phrase “ ideologically agnostic “ I have seen plenty of interviews where he addresses this point himself. He isn’t agnostic. The point he brings to the limelight which I tend to agree with is this. One should not be blinded by ideology. Governments are elected to govern, if they fail on that front u must have the moral courage to question it and fix it as well. I see no wrong in parties focusing more on what people need instead of shackling themselves within an ideology.

Which brings me to my second point, I feel like the shift to large scale data collection to truly and objectively understand people’s needs is good. Often political leaders are surrounded by sycophants. An objective analysis is required to truly see how the party is functioning. However I do agree that this would be much better if political parties had the maturity to have an internal system to do this (I have no faith that any politics outfit right now can pull it off).

I realise this is quite an old post, but I am new in this space and this is the first article I have read here, very well written. I will be checking out more of your articles.
